One Million Bones

Students in Sculpture/Ceramics classes created ceramic bones for the One Million Bones project.  The bones are memorial to to the millions of people who have lost their lives or become displaced as a result of genocide and humanitarian crisis in places like Sudan, Burma, Somalia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  The bones will be sent to Washington, D.C. to be part of a large scale installation on the National Mall on June 8-10.
